Gold Prices in Pakistan Reach Record High Amid Global Market Surge
Gold prices in Pakistan surged to a new record high on Wednesday, mirroring the rise in international gold rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola soared by Rs2,300, reaching an unprecedented Rs264,000. This increase marks a significant milestone, breaking all previous records in Pakistan.
According to data from the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs2,300 per tola, pushing it to Rs264,000. Additionally, the price of gold per 10 grams climbed by Rs1,972, bringing it to Rs226,337. This new peak surpasses the previous record high of Rs263,700 per tola set last month.
