PCB Announced Revised Schedule for England Test Series
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the revised schedule for the three ICC World Test Championship fixtures between Pakistan and England, set to take place from October 7 to October 28.
Schedule Changes
The second Test, initially scheduled at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from October 15 to 19, will now take place at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The remaining two Tests will proceed as scheduled: the first Test from October 7 to 11 in Multan and the third Test from October 24 to 28 in Rawalpindi. The change in venue for the second Test is due to ongoing renovations at the National Bank Stadium in preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will also be hosted at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Team Arrivals
The England men’s cricket team is expected to arrive in Multan on October 2, coinciding with the Pakistan men’s cricket team’s arrival on the same date.
PCB Statement
Usman Wahla, PCB Director of International Cricket, expressed excitement about the series, stating, “PCB is thrilled to welcome the England men’s cricket team back to Pakistan.”
