Usama Saleem: Young Pakistani Cybersecurity Expert Honored in NASA’s Hall of Fame

A 25-year-old cybersecurity expert from Karachi, Pakistan, Usama Saleem, has made significant strides in the field of cybersecurity. Recently, he earned a prestigious spot on NASA’s Hall of Fame for his outstanding contributions. Saleem was recognized for discovering two critical security vulnerabilities that had the potential to expose NASA’s sensitive data and compromise its systems. His findings have been acknowledged as vital in strengthening NASA’s cybersecurity, safeguarding the organization’s operations, and preventing potential threats.

Saleem is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cyber Security from NUST. His resume features over 20 certifications, including CEH Practical and Microsoft Cyber Security Architect. Microsoft recognized his dedication, naming him a Sentinel Black Belt in 2023 and 2024.
