YouTube has revealed its End-of-Year List 2024, celebrating the platform’s most popular videos and moments that resonated with audiences across Pakistan. This list reflects the diverse entertainment and information consumption patterns of the nation.

This year’s lists cover three categories: Top Trending Videos, Top Music Videos, and Top Creators. They offer an exciting glimpse into Pakistan’s evolving digital ecosystem. In 2024, YouTube experienced substantial growth, with Pakistani creators uploading more content than ever before. Local content uploads surged by 60% over the past year, showcasing a vibrant digital community.

Top Trending Videos: Entertainment Takes the Lead

Entertainment dominated the Top Trending Videos list, with Pakistani dramas and action-packed films emerging as the crowd favorites. The top three spots were held by captivating local dramas like Ishq Murshid, Jaan Nisar, and Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, reaffirming Pakistan’s enduring love for compelling storytelling. Action-packed South Indian cinema also gained massive popularity, with films such as Tiger Nageswara Rao and Ram Pothineni’s SKANDA making waves.

Top Music Videos: Music Connects Across Borders

The Top Music Videos category celebrates music’s unifying power. This year’s list features a blend of global sensations and celebrated local artists, highlighting the ability of music to transcend language barriers and bring people together. The top three songs—featuring a Punjabi hit, a Bollywood blockbuster, and a soulful Pakistani ballad—demonstrate the diversity of musical tastes that unite audiences across the globe.

Top Creators: Inspiring Creativity and Innovation

The Top Creators list honors individuals who inspire millions through their creativity and innovation. Channels such as Rajab’s Family, Anaya Eeshal Family, Arshad Reels, and Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad are among the standout creators, offering content that ranges from family vlogging to lifestyle, healthcare, and educational topics. YouTube continues to empower creators to build communities and businesses, with a 25% increase in creators earning over PKR 10 million annually.
