“He is improving. He has spoken with his family members and even managed to take a short walk at the hospital,” club representative Tariqul Islam reported.
Mohammedan’s physiotherapist, Enamul Haque, reassured fans that Tamim’s condition is stable, and arrangements are being made to shift him to another medical facility for further treatment.
“Quick medical intervention was crucial in saving his life, and thankfully, we were able to get him the necessary care in time,” Enamul told reporters.
Medical director Razeeb Hasan of the treating hospital confirmed that Tamim was in critical condition upon arrival and required immediate surgery to implant stents to clear a blocked artery.
