Gold Prices in Pakistan Decline for Third Time This Week

The price of gold in Pakistan has experienced a decline for the third time this week. On Thursday, the price fell by Rs. 1,100 per tola, according to data released by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. As a result, the price of 24-carat gold decreased to Rs. 274,400 per tola, while the price for 10 grams dropped by Rs. 943, reaching Rs. 235,254.

Recent Fluctuations

Earlier in the week, the price of gold rose by Rs. 600 per tola on Wednesday, following a slight decline during the opening two days. However, these decreases were marginal. Overall, prices are down by Rs. 2,600 per tola compared to the record high of Rs. 277,000 observed last week. Meanwhile, the prices for silver remained stable, with per tola silver priced at Rs. 3,050 and 10 grams at Rs. 2,614.88.

International Market Trends

In the international market, gold prices also saw a decrease, dropping by $11 to $2,642 from a previous price of $2,653, as reported by the Association. This global decline may influence local prices further in the coming days.
