Google has officially introduced its mobile payment solution, Google Wallet, in Pakistan, revolutionizing digital transactions with enhanced ease and security. The service enables users to make seamless online payments, conduct in-app purchases, and execute contactless transactions in person using their smartphones. How to Set Up Google Wallet in Pakistan

Setting up Google Wallet in Pakistan is straightforward. Users can download the Google Wallet app from the Google Play Store. If a compatible credit or debit card is already linked to a Google account, it will automatically appear in the app.

To complete the setup for contactless payments, follow these steps:

Open the Google Wallet app.
Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize account activation.
If no card is saved, tap “Add a card” at the top of the app.
Accept the issuer’s terms and conditions and complete the verification process.
Once verified, the card will be tokenized and ready for transactions.

Google Wallet currently supports a range of debit and credit cards from leading Pakistani banks. Users can utilize these cards for both in-person and online transactions at merchants accepting Google Pay.

Users will soon be able to make purchases at leading online retailers, including Onic, Gul Ahmed, Sana Safinaz, J., and KE, through PayFast’s integration. Additionally, travelers can store boarding passes from airlines like Batik Air and Thai Airways, providing real-time flight updates and gate change alerts for a hassle-free airport experience.
